CRAFT is an extension of Chatham University’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and innovation. Building on the Falk School of Sustainability and Environment and the Food Studies program, CRAFT combines education, outreach, and training to strengthen food systems, support emerging products, and advance knowledge across the region.

Working alongside the Masters in Food Studies program, CRAFT integrates an interdisciplinary, hands-on curriculum with applied research and community projects. Faculty and advanced students collaborate directly with local businesses, farmers, and innovators to develop real-world solutions that benefit both the region and the next generation of food system leaders.
