COMMUNITY GRAIN PROJECTS

Thursday, November 5th, 12PM EST

This panel will include both ongoing and new activities that show how grains farming and baking can center the experiences of immigrants, BIPOC, economically challenged communities, and women in creating sustenance (jobs and food), access (availability of culturally appropriate and economically affordable grains), and representation (who is a farmer in America? Who is a baker?). The highlighted projects range from working at the micro level, within specific communities, to macro-level regional change.

This panel is partially sponsored by our friends at the Artisan Grain Collaborative!
